Then you don't have to worry about the brutal hp reduction. The one bit of advice I can give is using a flyer with the mov boost to take out the staff user (you will only be attacked by 1 more unit iirc, even then, Camilla can handle anything non magical with ease). Wish I had a good strategy, I managed to brute force it without much issue unfortunately (as in, I could do crap like use Shigure to take out reinforcements of 2 bowmen where they spawned, as he could live through 1 hit). This is moreso for anyone else who happens to end up here looking for a strategy like I was. Like I said, given that it's been ten days I'm assuming you, the OP, have beat it by now. If you're almost dead at this point, you can ignore them and end the mission. I used the last two Dragon Veins to slow the fliers down and let them approach so I could get the last few battles worth of EXP out of them. At this point, you should have two Dragon Veins (the one to the right of Hinoka's alcove and the one she was standing on) and a path to the end. I had Leo and Xander dispatch the Oni warriors that spawned and let some of the weaker units (Elise, Felicia, Ophelia) attack Azama from a distance for the experience. At this point, I had Effie and Silas take down Hinoka, Camilla and Corrin killed the troop she was partnered with. I Dragon Vein'd to keep the fliers that spawned at pay. I regrouped everyone here, expecting reinforcements. You can ignore Azama as long as you don't have anyone on an adjacent space. Once I had everyone as far as they could go, I had Ophelia (my Dragon Vein character of choice because her defense was too low to fight the enemies in the next area) and had Xander, Leo, Corrin, and a few other powerful units rush in to take out the three Hoshidan soldiers. I approached as close as I could to the alcove in front of Hinoka. Have someone who can Dragon Vein be near the front. At this point, you have to work through the narrow part of the map. Keep everyone together and only leave your strongest units in positions to draw in the fliers.Īfter dispatching the next round of reinforcements, I took the center area to regroup everyone. After that, I rushed Setsuna and the surrounding enemies with everything I had. I got outside of Setsuna's range, then waited for Hinoka's Dragon Vein to wear off. Use the enemy Dragon Veins to your advantage. After taking that island, I waited for the Dragon Veins to all wear off and let a few units drain Azama of the Hexing Staff. That island was also the first Dragon Vein I used. I healed anyone that needed it and advanced on the other island near spawn. Also keep in mind what weapons the flier is using: if they've got a Silver Naginata, you can approach with anyone.Īfter this, I returned to the starting area. Don't overextend yourself, let them come to you. I had Niles on the ready to take care of them. I sent my Corrin and a few others to do that. Just wait in spawn until everyone who will approach has died.Īfter that, I took the bottom island. Some of the casters will approach as well. Let all the fliers who are gonna approach at the beginning do so. I approached with Camilla (who benefits from the enemy Dragon Vein) and then fell back to the group. One of the first fliers to approach will be a Bow user and will be way too far away after the first turn. You'll have a leftover, but it shouldn't matter. I'm sure you've beat it already, but I'll still share what I did anyway: I found this through Google search when trying to find help with this mission.
